Molly-Mae Hague's fans have been speculating about the name of her newborn baby after she announced the arrival of her second child on Wednesday. The Love Island star and her boyfriend Tommy Fury, both 27, welcomed their second child earlier this week and shared the news with a sweet black-and-white snap showing the couple with their daughter Bambi, three, and their newborn in hospital.
While the comments section quickly filled with congratulations, many fans were eager to learn the baby's name, sex, and weight. Guesses included Miffy, Bunny, Dusk, Dream, and Cloud. One theory stemmed from Bambi wearing a T-shirt featuring Miffy, a fictional rabbit from the 1955 series of picture books by Dutch artist Dick Bruna.
As well as name predictions, some fans speculated about how the couple would announce the name. One suggested it might happen when Tommy steps into the boxing ring in Manchester on June 13. Molly-Mae, who previously said fans might 'hate' the name, shared several sweet snaps but kept the newborn's name and gender private. She captioned the update: '…. and then there were 4.' Their daughter Bambi looked delighted as she met her sibling for the first time at the hospital, wearing her Miffy T-shirt over another top.
One fan wrote: 'If she's a girl I reckon she's Miffy x,' while another added: 'I think Miffy' with a bunny emoji. Other guesses included Moon, Dusk, Dream, Cloud, and Bunny. Tommy is set to return to the boxing ring on June 13 in Manchester for a fight against former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall.
Since Bambi's arrival, Tommy has frequently paid tribute to his daughter through his boxing attire, including his shorts and zip-up. Molly said last month: 'I've been designing Tommy's shorts for his fight and I'm thinking about potentially putting... I don't know if we're going... because I don't know what the timeline's going to be... I'm thinking do I put the name of baby number two on his fight shorts? Because he always has Bambi's name on his fight shorts, and I don't want to leave the second baby off. But also maybe that's how we announce the name is on his fight shorts. That would actually be quite cool. Fight on the 13th [of June] with Eddie Hall. So we've got a lot to look forward to guys. There's a lot coming up in the next few weeks.'
Back in 2023, ahead of welcoming their daughter Bambi, Molly-Mae chose to be induced so Tommy could be at the birth. Tommy fought YouTuber Jake Paul on February 26 in Saudi Arabia, after pulling out twice before. In a YouTube blog detailing her birth story, Molly-Mae explained: 'The reason we decided to be induced and not let the labour come on naturally is because, like I said, we had chosen to give birth in London. Also, as you guys know I can't really avoid talking about it, Tommy has an absolutely gigantic fight in just a couple of weeks and through this period of life. We really just needed to have some sort of understanding of when things were going to be happening. We needed to have a rough understanding of when Bambi was going to be making her arrival so that I wasn't going into labour and he wasn't able to be with me... That would have been really bad!'
They spent money on a room at The Portland Hospital, where birth packages start from £15,000 and can cost up to £30,000. The Duchess of Sussex welcomed son Archie at The Portland in 2019, while other famous mothers who have had their babies there include Victoria Beckham, Liz Hurley, and Jools Oliver. Molly-Mae and Tommy previously announced her due date was the same day as the boxer's big fight on June 12. Molly-Mae and Tommy rekindled their romance last year and announced they were expecting their second child in February. Tommy proposed in Ibiza in July 2023, after pretending they were on a brand trip. However, in the summer of 2024, Molly-Mae announced that she and Tommy had separated after five years together. In a statement posted to her Instagram followers, Molly confirmed the breakup, saying: 'I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.' Tommy denied continued speculation about him cheating during a magazine interview, insisting any reports about him being with other women were 'complete and utter b*****ks'. Later in her Behind It All documentary, Molly-Mae discussed how Tommy's drinking had been a huge factor in their split.
