Post Malone has experienced a string of unfortunate events in recent weeks, leading some fans to speculate that a mysterious object may be to blame. The rapper's private jet had two tyres blow out on the runway, his old house was reportedly broken into by armed intruders, and his Rolls Royce was involved in a car crash.
A video released by TMZ shows Malone visiting the Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, where he touched a box known as the Dybbuk box. The museum's owner, Zak Bagans, claims it is the world's most haunted object. In the video, Bagans touches the box, and Malone touches his shoulder, which is believed by some to transfer a curse.
The Dybbuk box, originally a wine cabinet bought on eBay in 2003, is said to contain a malicious spirit in Jewish mythology. It was donated to the museum years later and inspired the 2012 horror film The Possession. The film depicts the box as a source of death and destruction, rather than the misfortunes Malone has faced.
Despite the speculation, Malone has not blamed the box for his recent troubles, instead offering his own theory. Further details on his explanation have not been disclosed.
