Former EastEnders star Clair Norris has left fans floored after debuting a "hot" makeover over a year after she left the hit soap. The 28-year-old actress, known for playing Bernadette Taylor in the BBC soap between 2017 and 2025, saw her time on the show come to a sudden end last year.
Now she has stepped out showing off a new look by modelling a number of outfits on Instagram, and it's fair to say it made a few jaws drop to the floor. People can't get over how great she looked, and she appeared worlds apart from her character, Bernadette, donning a much more glamorous image.
Fans react to new look
Alongside footage of herself she posted on social media, she wrote: "You can only choose ONE for your next night out… which one are you claiming? Outfit 1 Main Character: because sometimes the outfit is the event. Outfit 2 Dinner Date: effortless, dressed-up, 'I just threw this on' energy. Outfit 3 Girls' Night: fun, flirty and ready for the cocktails From dinner dates to girls' nights out, this is your reminder that plus size fashion doesn't have to mean playing it safe."
After she shared the footage, people were quick to say how amazing she looked. Many thought she looked "hot" as she posed in the outfits, as they were quick to comment with fire emojis.
One said: "You look hot." Another added: "Wow. You look amazing." A third replied: "You look amazing in them all." Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Wow, wow, wow. Stunning in everything. Number one is my favourite on you." One more also noted: "All of them but if I had to choose the first one. You look amazing and glowing with confidence."
Sudden exit from EastEnders
It comes after she left the show back last year. Her exit came as a bit of a shock to fans back in 2025 when it was decided her character would be written out. Clair's character, who was more commonly known as Bernie, was written out of the show back last year. At the time, it was decided the remaining members of the Taylor family would be phased out.
After she left, she took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post featuring photos with her TV family members from over the years. At the time, it was shared alongside the caption: "The end of an era last night. My onscreen family, I love YA ALL!! From the very first day I was blessed to work and learn from the very best and be supported by the most loving people! I struck gold with this lot! Thank you @bbceastenders for having me and @daranlittle for creating trouble... The Taylors."
Before she left the soap, an EastEnders spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that Clair will be leaving EastEnders. We wish her all the best for the future." Since she left the soap, it's reported she has been pursuing new acting and stage opportunities. Clair also continues to be super active on social media.
