Ricky Groves, best known for playing Garry Hobbs on EastEnders, has resurfaced in a promotional video for a mould removal product. The 56-year-old actor, who left the BBC soap in 2009, appears on the social media channels of retailer Must Have Ideas UK, demonstrating Mould Magic Extreme.

In the clip, Groves explains the product's benefits, saying: "Want to get rid of mould once and for all? Mould Magic Extreme. Check this out. It's got a specially patented formula that actually sticks to the wall." He also highlights customer results, adding: "Mould in the bathroom, there you go, where's it gone? It's gone."

Groves' character Garry was involved in major storylines, including a stillbirth and a suicide attempt, before leaving Walford with Dawn Swann. After his soap exit, Groves took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2009. He has also kept in touch with former co-stars, meeting Jamie Borthwick in September this year.
