Irish actress Eve Hewson turned heads on the Venice Film Festival red carpet, wearing a dramatic black ballgown by Schiaparelli. The gown, from the French luxury brand's Couture collection, featured black ruffles, a shimmering fabric, a full ruffled skirt, a corseted waist, and black ruffles on the bust.
Hewson, who earlier arrived in a white floral summer dress by Erdem, attended the premiere of her film Jay Kelly. Directed by Noah Baumbach, the film stars George Clooney as a famous film star who embarks on a profound journey across Europe with his manager Ron, played by Hewson's co-star.
The actress paired her Old Hollywood-inspired look with a dark berry lipstick and an up-do hairstyle. She walked the red carpet alongside her co-stars, including George Clooney, Laura Dern, and Riley Keough, and posed for photos with her mother, Ali Hewson.
The Venice Film Festival, the oldest film festival in the world, runs from 27 August to 6 September. It features a lineup of stars such as Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton, and is a key event for both the entertainment industry and fashion enthusiasts.
