Former Emmerdale heartthrob Michael Parr has revealed how becoming a father has completely transformed his lifestyle, trading wild nights out for the joys of parenthood.
The 36-year-old actor, best known for playing bad boy Ross Barton in the ITV soap, admitted his priorities have radically changed since welcoming his first child earlier this year.
From Late Nights to Nappy Changes
Parr confessed to The Daily Mail that his previous party-loving ways have been replaced by early mornings and nappy duty. "It's been a complete 180," the actor revealed. "I used to be out until 4am, now I'm up at 4am for completely different reasons."
A New Perspective
The dramatic lifestyle shift has given Parr a fresh outlook: "When you become responsible for this little human, everything else just falls away. All those things that seemed important before suddenly don't matter at all."
While he's embraced his new role, Parr admits the transition hasn't always been smooth: "The first few weeks were terrifying. You read all the books but nothing prepares you for the reality."

The actor, who left Emmerdale in 2018 after five years on the show, hinted that fatherhood might influence his future career choices: "I'm being much more selective about projects now. Time away from my family has to be worth it."
