Emmerdale actress Isabel Hodgins has given birth to a baby girl, her first child with husband Adam Whitehead. The couple, who married in a fairy-tale wedding in Manchester just months ago, announced the pregnancy earlier this year.
Hodgins, who plays Victoria Sugden on the ITV soap, and Whitehead, a PE teacher, welcomed their daughter recently. The pair had revealed they were expecting in an exclusive interview, sharing their joy and the challenges of the first trimester, including fatigue and mood swings.
The couple had decided not to find out the baby's gender before birth, opting for a neutral nursery colour scheme. They joked about struggling with names, particularly for a girl, and planned to let the baby 'choose' its own name.
Hodgins and Whitehead, who met at the gym three years ago, discovered they were born in the same hospital and attended the same school, despite a three-year age gap. Their baby was not born at that hospital, but the family is overjoyed with their new arrival.
