Andrew Scarborough's Return to Emmerdale
Graham Foster, played by Andrew Scarborough, has quickly settled back into village life after his unexpected return in January. Viewers of the ITV soap will remember that the beloved character was thought to have died in 2020, but made a shocking comeback during a crossover with Coronation Street.
Graham's return is tied to the mysterious arrival of Weatherfield's Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown), the estranged sister of Shona Platt (Julia Goulding). Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) was astonished to find his father figure alive, and the two now live together at Home Farm. Graham has also tried to rekindle his romance with Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) and has shared a bed with Kim Tate (Claire King).
In a surprising twist, audiences are currently seeing a softer side of Graham as he supports troubled teenager Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) after his father Cain's (Jeff Hordley) battle with prostate cancer, according to the Express.
Discussing his comeback, Andrew Scarborough expressed surprise at his return: "I never expected it at all. Although saying that, I did think that Graham always had a possibility of coming back."
Speaking about keeping his return a secret from his family, Andrew, 52, admitted: "Oh yes, it's been a big secret, and I kept it mostly quiet from my family, which was tricky." He further revealed who he confided in: "Oh yes, just a limited few, certainly it is on one hand, in fact I had some cousins who contacted me after it was shown, saying you sod."
