Emmerdale fans believe they have identified Serena Sugden's true target after recent episodes, suggesting it is not Kim Tate or Ross Barton.
Serena's Actions Raise Questions
Initially, viewers thought Serena was targeting Kim Tate for unknown reasons. She broke into Home Farm with a mystery accomplice, stealing a USB drive. Kim noticed the USB was missing but did not disclose its contents to Ross. Serena examined the files and later returned the USB.
Serena has been using Ross to gain access to Home Farm, pretending to be interested in him. She told her mystery caller that she had found nothing useful on the USB, leading fans to suspect a deeper plan.
New Theory: Victoria Sugden in the Spotlight
Next week, the caller tells Serena the USB was useless. While it seemed Serena was targeting Kim, fans now theorize her real motive involves the Sugdens. Serena recently admitted she was close to her killer cousin John Sugden while he was on the run, lying about not seeing him for years.
Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle were shocked by her confession. Serena claimed John tricked her into believing he was innocent. She has been asking questions about John's death and crimes since arriving, even suspecting Victoria Sugden's disappearance was linked to John's murder.
Fans Speculate on Evidence
Despite vowing to move on, fans suspect Serena is searching for evidence Joe Tate recorded of Victoria killing John. One fan posted: "Her character is getting interesting.
