Emmerdale Fans Think They've Uncovered Serena Sugden's Link

Emmerdale viewers are convinced they have figured out how the mysterious new Sugden relative, Serena, is connected to the established family tree. The character, played by Casey Al-Shaqsy, is set to arrive in the village soon, but her exact relationship to Robert, Victoria, and Sarah Sugden has not been officially revealed.

Fan Theories Abound

Since the announcement, fans have taken to social media to share their theories. Many believe Serena is the long-lost daughter of Joe Sugden, Jack Sugden's brother, or possibly related to their sister Peggy. One fan posted: "I'm thinking Joe's kid," while another agreed: "I think it’s Joe Sugden’s long lost daughter. I’m just guessing or maybe Jack and Joe Sugden’s sister Peggy’s long lost daughter."

Others have pointed out that Serena could be the daughter of Jack Sugden himself, making her a half-sibling to Robert and Victoria. A viewer noted: "You are forgetting that Robert's father, Jack, had a brother so she could be his daughter and, therefore, a cousin to Robert and Victoria." Another fan added: "I read somewhere a few days ago that Joe (Jack's brother) had a secret kid so this could be that."
