Emmerdale fans believe they have uncovered the dramatic outcome of Dawn Taylor and Joe Tate's upcoming wedding, as new summer spoilers promise betrayal, jealousy, and revenge. The couple's tumultuous relationship has been a central storyline, with Joe's dark past and manipulative schemes threatening their future.
Joe Tate's Return and Dark Secrets
Joe Tate returned to the Dales in Christmas 2024, bringing a web of secrets. He was desperately in need of a new kidney and refused to join the NHS waiting list, instead hunting for a match within his own family. This led to the Valentine's Day limo crash that killed three villagers after Joe drugged Noah Dingle, hoping he would be a match. When Noah wasn't, Joe left him stranded on the road, causing Charity to swerve and crash to avoid hitting him.
Joe's scheming continued when he discovered Caleb Miligan was a match and had him kidnapped, performing surgery without his consent. Despite these revelations, Dawn Taylor chose to stay with Joe, leaving her husband Billy Fletcher after starting an affair with Joe.
Recent Strains on the Relationship
Their relationship nearly ended when Dawn learned Joe had blackmailed Robert Sugden into planting slave documents in Moira Dingle's home to gain control of the farm. She was horrified to discover Joe had filmed Victoria struggling against John Sugden before killing him in self-defence, using the footage to blackmail Robert.

Some viewers now think they have worked out what will happen on the big day, predicting that Dawn will flee the village with Billy and their children once and for all, especially with Billy being part of a major depot storyline.
