Emma Watson Mistook Birdwatchers for Paparazzi

Emma Watson once confused a group of birdwatchers for paparazzi outside her family home. The Harry Potter star, 36, recounted the incident during a speech at the United for Wildlife Business Forum in London, hosted by Prince William's The Royal Foundation.

Watson explained that she saw men with long lenses outside her living room and initially feared they were photographers. She said: 'I was in my living room and I saw all these men outside with very long lenses. And I thought: Urgh today's the day it's happened. My goodness.'

Her mother went outside to confront them while Watson sneaked out the other way. However, it turned out the men were not there for her but for a rare bird called a red kite. Watson later let the birdwatchers into her garden to photograph the bird.

The event also featured a speech by Prince William, who urged global business leaders to do more for the environment. He said: 'You have the power to influence, your voice matters in your business, your direction matters and here more than anything, your leadership matters.'
