Vardy's Maternity Leave Announcement
Vardy signed off on her last show before maternity leave on February 1, telling viewers: "Right, well, that's nearly it for us today. And my last show before mat leave! Bye!" Co-host Roger Johnston wished her "good luck," to which she replied: "I'll be back... see you."
She gave birth to her second son, Rocky Beau, on February 9, 2026, announcing the news on Instagram with a series of photos from the hospital. She wrote: "Rocky Beau 09.02.26. Finally, news of the most beautiful story I can report. Born in water. We are more in love than you can imagine. A huge amount of gratitude and appreciation for the staff at the midwife-led Manchester Birth Centre at Wythenshawe."
Colleagues Congratulate the New Mother
Vardy's co-stars quickly congratulated her, with Jon Kay calling the news 'fantastic' and Nina Warhurst welcoming the 'little one' into the world. Rocky is Vardy's second child with husband Aaron Adams; their first son, Jago, was born in 2023.
