More than 100 pairs of trainers from Eminem's personal collection, each signed by the rapper, will go under the hammer next month. Julien's Auctions will host the Marshall Mathers Foundation Auction on August 25, offering sneaker enthusiasts a chance to acquire rare footwear while supporting charity.
The lineup includes exclusive collaborations between Jordan and Eminem, as well as pairs from Nike, Carhartt, Puma, and Adidas spanning over two decades. Every pair is hand-signed by Eminem—whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III—and comes with its original box, a combination that Julien's Auctions says adds authenticity and collector value.
Auction highlights and estimated prices
Among the standout lots is a pair of Eminem x Nike Air Jordan 3 Slim Shady PE trainers, expected to fetch between $25,000 and $35,000 (£18,000–£26,000). Also up for sale are Eminem x Carhartt x Nike Air Jordan 4s and a pair of Eminem x Nike Air Jordan 4 Encores from 2017, each anticipated to reach up to $25,000.
Other notable pairs include stage-worn Nike Air Max 90 Soundstorms, estimated at up to $12,000 (£9,000); Nike Air Max 90 Japan SP Camos, up to $3,000 (£2,000); and Adidas Superstar 1 trainers with original box, valued at up to $1,200 (£901).
Charity and Eminem's legacy
All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which supports disadvantaged and at-risk youth in Detroit and surrounding communities. The foundation was established in 2002.
Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg—president of Shady Records and CEO of Goliath Artists—said: "Marshall has always expressed his personal style through his sneakers and he has amassed quite a collection throughout the years. We are excited to offer an opportunity to own a piece of his personal collection – including some grails – while supporting the cause that is so meaningful to him."
Eminem has sold more than 164 million albums globally, won 15 Grammy Awards and an Academy Award. The Marshall Mathers Foundation Auction will be held live and online on August 25.
