Wil Anderson, the brother of England and Manchester City star Elliot Anderson, is engaged to former Love Island contestant and model Uma Jammeh. The couple, who met on the hit reality show in 2024, have been supporting the Three Lions at the World Cup in the United States.
Love Story Blossomed on Reality TV
Wil Anderson entered the Love Island villa in 2024 and quickly formed a connection with Jammeh. Despite being eliminated on day 37, when Reuben Collins chose to pursue Jammeh, their relationship endured. The couple became engaged last year, with Wil announcing the news on Instagram: “I liked it, so I put a ring on it,” alongside a photo of Uma wearing a green dress.
Wil Anderson's Boxing Career
Wil is also a boxer for Misfits promotion. He lost his debut fight against Jordan Banjo but secured a knockout victory over Jake Cornish in March. The couple have spent the summer in America cheering on Elliot and England, who reached the World Cup semi-finals.
Family Tragedy
The Anderson family suffered a devastating loss in April when their mother, Helen, passed away after a short illness. Wil paid tribute on Instagram: “Words can’t describe this feeling. You didn’t deserve this. All I ever wanted was to make you proud. You were my biggest supporter and my strongest motivation. You gave everything for our family and we were just ready to return the favour.” Jammeh commented: “Rest in peace queen Helen, she is forever next to you holding your hand along the way. I love you so much.”
