Ellie Goulding and boyfriend Beau Minniear were seen soaking up the sunshine in the South of France as the couple enjoyed a relaxing day by the water. The pair made the most of the stunning surroundings at the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the iconic French Riviera retreat which has played host to some of Hollywood’s biggest stars over the years.
Beau, 29, appeared keen to make a splash as he was seen diving from the hotel’s famous swimming platform into the Mediterranean. The Love Me Like You Do songstress, 39, who has five-year-old son Arthur with ex-husband Caspar Jopling, and Beau welcomed daughter Iris Edeline in March.
Birth announcement and family joy
At the time, she said: "On Friday I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her. I was fitting that I spent International Women's Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary's, who provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness.
"I will always be in awe of midwives. This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so so happy to become a big brother to this little angel."
Relationship timeline
Ellie has not said much about her relationship with Beau, but he was first thought to be dating the singer after the two were seen on a series of dates over the summer of 2025, including a romantic minibreak to Italy. They went public after their holiday when they attended a boxing match together.
Earlier this year, a source told The Sun: "Ellie is into Beau and they have a lot of shared interests like exercise and art. They’ve been having fun together and they certainly make for an attractive couple."
Writing through personal experiences
Following the breakdown of her marriage, she explained towards the end of 2024 that she had been channelling her personal life into her work. She said: "I’ve been writing about what’s been going on in my life. But also just observations, friends, my connection with nature — the usual things that I tend to gravitate towards writing about, maybe slightly more elevated or evolved from the last album."
