Ellie Goulding has announced the birth of her second child, a “beautiful healthy baby girl”. The singer, 39, shared the news on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, revealing she gave birth on Friday.
In a heartfelt message, Goulding praised the hospital staff at St Mary’s, describing the care she received as “extraordinary”. She wrote: “It was fitting that I spent International Women’s Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary’s.”
The baby is Goulding’s first child with boyfriend Beau Minniear. She is also mother to four-year-old son Arthur, whom she shares with ex-husband Caspar Jopling. Goulding finalised her divorce from Jopling in January 2025.
The singer is not expected to take a long break from work. She is set to headline BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sunderland on May 23, and her sixth studio album is due for release later this year.
