GB News presenter Ellie Costello, 31, has married fiancé Gerard Durkan in an intimate civil ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, with only close family and friends in attendance. Co-host Eamonn Holmes was not on the guest list.
Costello wore a long-sleeved, button-detail ivory Meshki mini dress for the occasion. She described the event as a 'beautiful, intimate civil ceremony' and said the couple are now looking forward to a religious wedding in the south of France this summer.
Speaking about her role alongside Holmes, Costello said she 'grew up watching him on telly' and described working with him as a 'pinch-myself moment'. Holmes commented on her outfit, noting the short dress and remarking that she would 'do it all again in the summer' for a bigger celebration.
The couple announced their engagement in November 2023. Meanwhile, Holmes has been dealing with personal challenges, including his separation from Ruth Langsford after 14 years of marriage and health issues following spinal surgery and a double hip replacement. He has reportedly found new romance with counsellor Katie Alexander, though the couple face logistical hurdles due to distance and Holmes's mobility issues.
