Multiple former and current staffers have come forward with complaints, prompting an internal investigation by WarnerMedia.
DeGeneres issued an apology email to staff, saying she was 'disappointed' to learn the show was not 'a place of happiness' and that she takes responsibility. However, the apology was met with backlash, with some staffers accusing her of deflecting blame onto executive producers. One anonymous staffer told DailyMail.com: 'She created and then enabled this toxic culture to go on for so long.'
