Josie Gibson plans to foster children and is 'ready' to find love again

This Morning star Josie Gibson has revealed she is ready to find love again and hopes to become a foster carer. The 38-year-old, who has been single for years while focusing on raising her seven-year-old son Reggie and her career, said she dreams of a big family and wants to open her home to children in need.

Speaking to Closer Magazine, Josie said: 'If I'd met the right man, I probably would have had about 10. I would love to foster.' The TV presenter also admitted she has been inundated with flirty messages on Instagram, leaving her 'blushing', and is considering joining dating apps.

A source told the publication: 'She's quite an old-fashioned girl at heart, but she loves a good flirt. She likes a real man's man – she's ready to be swept off her feet and wants the butterflies and passion.' The insider added that Josie feels confident in her appearance and has bought matching lingerie, telling friends 'it's a shame to have it go to waste'.

Josie has previously been in relationships with Big Brother's John James Parton, ex-fiancé Luke Sanwo, and Reggie's father Terry James. She recalled the moment her relationship with Terry ended, describing a critical remark he made during her first Christmas with baby Reggie. She said she spent four days cooking and cleaning, only for him to complain that she hadn't 'buffed the sides'.

In a 2019 interview, Josie said she told him: 'If you don't like it, pack our stuff, we will go' – and he did, packing their belongings into black bags and taking them to a house she rented out. She also criticised his decision to sleep in a campervan when Reggie was five months old, leaving her to handle all night feeds. She revealed that while she bought him a skiing holiday for Christmas, she received 'not even a card from Reg' in return, spending New Year's Eve alone with her son in a hotel.
