A day earlier, McGarty posted a carousel of holiday images on Instagram, writing: 'The best trip away with Mi Amor @tonydiscipline'. Discipline replied: 'Te Amo'. One photo showed them getting matching tattoos – a popped toaster next to a pineapple and palm tree.

Fans were thrilled, with comments expressing nostalgia for their on-screen characters Whitney Dean and Tyler Moon, who were in a tumultuous relationship before Tyler left the show in 2014. Whitney remained until 2024, with a brief return in 2026.
Rumours had been circulating since earlier this year when McGarty shared a St. Patrick’s Day snap of them together. They later attended the Women’s Football Awards in coordinating outfits, further fuelling speculation.
