Former EastEnders actress Clair Norris has shown off a glamorous new look that fans say is "worlds apart" from her on-screen character. The 28-year-old, who played Bernadette Taylor in the BBC soap from 2017 to 2025, shared a video on Instagram of herself trying on various outfits, prompting an outpouring of admiration.

In the clip, Norris modelled three different outfits and asked followers to choose one for a night out. The caption read: "You can only choose ONE for your next night out... which one are you claiming?" She described the options as "Main Character", "Dinner Date" and "Girls' Night", adding that the post was a reminder that "plus size fashion doesn't have to mean playing it safe."
Admirers flooded the comments section with praise, with many describing her as "hot" and using fire emojis. One fan wrote: "You look hot." Another said: "Wow. You look amazing." A third commented: "You look amazing in them all."
A fourth follower remarked: "Wow, wow, wow. Stunning in everything. Number one is my favourite on you." One more said: "I didn't recognise you at first and thought where do I know you from? Then I realised you were Bernie - so different from your character in Eastenders!!! I love outfit 3!"
Departure from EastEnders
Norris's exit from the soap was announced last year when bosses decided the remaining Taylor family members would be gradually phased out. Following her departure, she shared a touching tribute on Instagram featuring photos with her on-screen relatives, captioned: "The end of an era last night. My onscreen family, I love YA ALL!"
She added: "From the very first day I was blessed to work and learn from the very best and be supported by the most loving people! I struck gold with this lot! Thank you @bbceastenders for having me and @daranlittle for creating trouble... The Taylors."
At the time of her exit, an EastEnders spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that Clair will be leaving EastEnders. We wish her all the best for the future." Since leaving the show, Norris has been exploring fresh acting and stage ventures and remains active on social media.
