EastEnders has aired a surprise exit amid the fallout from Jasmine and Josh's birthday, where his affair with his twin's boyfriend Oscar was exposed, leaving Jasmine heartbroken.
Shock Exit in Walford
EastEnders has aired a shock exit as the drama from Jasmine and Josh's birthday continues. After Oscar's affair with his girlfriend's twin brother was revealed in front of the entire Slater family, Josh decided it was a good time to visit his mother in Southend and left Walford.
Affair Exposed at Dinner
Oscar's affair with Josh was exposed in the middle of a special dinner honouring Josh and Jasmine's birthday. Josh told the entire table that he and Oscar had been sleeping together, causing Jasmine to fly off the handle.
Amid the tears and screaming, Jasmine made it clear she did not want to see Josh again. She also told Oscar she would be willing to give their relationship another shot if he could act like nothing had ever happened with Josh. However, after a talk with Cindy about the importance of accountability, Oscar decided he couldn't do that.
Josh's Departure
Later, Oscar and Josh had a conversation in the cafe, where Oscar explained what happened. Josh seemed hopeful that with their affair out in the open, he and Oscar could be together. He even invited Oscar to go and stay with him and Sandra in Southend.
But Oscar declined and kissed Josh goodbye, telling him he should focus on rebuilding his relationship with Jasmine. After that, Josh picked up his bag and walked out. Josh is sure to be back soon, as his exit was only for the weekend.

The fallout from the affair reveal has shocked fans. Jasmine threatened to kill Oscar multiple times before her stepgrandfather Alfie Moon stepped in. Alfie gave Jasmine a hug, telling her she was better than Oscar, and Jasmine broke down in tears.
Fans loved that moment between the two. One wrote: "Alfie really knows how to deal with the Slater women as silly as he can be sometimes he can be such a sweet character."
Another added: "The only paternal figure being the one who she responds best to, ties into her lore with Kieth and his death. The writing for Jasmine has significantly improved, much better."
