EastEnders fans have been left speechless after uncovering Bea Pollard's famous 'twin'. The character, played by Ronni Ancona, was first introduced to BBC viewers in January when Linda Carter attended a school reunion. Bea later alleged that Linda had bullied her in school, leading to her staying at 5 Albert Square, where she developed obsessive tendencies towards Honey Mitchell.
Bea's Troubling Storyline
Bea secretly took out a credit card in Honey's name to fund a lavish lifestyle and secure her position as the Mitchells' permanent lodger. The storyline escalated when Bea launched a sinister campaign against Honey's husband, Billy, using AI-generated voice notes to trick Honey into believing Billy was unfaithful and framing him for crimes. It was later uncovered that Bea had a history of terrorising former housemates, including pushing a friend's husband down the stairs and burning down a house. Bea's storyline ended when she knocked Honey unconscious and kidnapped her earlier this month. After Honey escaped, Bea was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and perverting the course of justice.
Fans Uncover Bea's 'Twin'
Now, EastEnders fans have pointed out that actor Ronni Ancona resembles Big Brother UK star Rosie Williams. Rosie, a 29-year-old dental assistant and administrator from Essex, was a memorable housemate on the 2024 series of Big Brother, earning the nickname 'Baked Potato' after surviving a punishment. She also had a romance with fellow housemate Nathan King, which ended after the series.
Sharing the similarities, one fan wrote on X: 'Just realising Rosie (Baked Potato) from the second series of ITV Big Brother is so Bea from #EastEnders.' Another added: 'Oh gosh, I knew she reminded me of someone and just couldn't place it. Need these two to meet!' A third said: 'Genuinely thought this was Bea at first glance,' while another shared: 'Spot on!' A fifth fan echoed: 'Oh my god, how have I not noticed this before, they are the same person without the stalkery s***.'
