Dumped Love Island star Martha Rothwell has admitted she views one Islander differently after watching the show back, having been taken aback by a different aspect of a fellow Islander she 'got on so well with.'
The 25-year-old arrived at the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell and appeared to have discovered chemistry with original boy Aidan Murphy. However, their connection quickly crumbled when Aidan chose to continue his existing romance with Priya Jaswal.
This left Martha without a partner, but she was swiftly picked up by Casa boy Jordon Wilson in the following recoupling, with the pair keen to explore whether their friendship could develop into something deeper. Yet their journey came to a sudden end during a mass dumping just weeks before the 2026 final, reports OK!.
Martha's Disappointment
Now that they've finally had the opportunity to view the programme back, Martha has been left disheartened by Mica Harris' brutal remark. Speaking on Love Island: The Debrief, Jordon and Martha were questioned about their opinion on Mica and Samraj Toor.
The pair have repeatedly ended up in the bottom three during public votes, which has left their fellow contestants constantly wondering if the public are aware of something they're missing. While they both consider Mica and Samraj's relationship to be authentic, Martha was stunned to discover Mica's real thoughts about fellow bombshell Charleen Murphy.
She said: 'Mica, I really liked in there and I thought we got on so well. But since I've been out, I've seen some of the things she said behind Charleen's back. To our face it was very 'girls' girl' they would never say anything wrong and then I've seen different since we're out.'
Friction in the Villa
When the Casa girls first arrived at the villa, Jasmine Muller was devastated that her partner Kavan Murphy opted to recouple with Charleen. Attempting to console her mate, Mica remarked: 'I can't believe Kav chose THAT girl over you Jas.'
Martha went on to disclose that there was some friction between the latecomers and the original contestants. She revealed: 'I feel like we went in a bit cautious because we didn't know what the reception would be like. Especially after everything the boys told us because they were saying it was a tense environment and that the girls were always telling them off, was what they said. Even though it was deserved.'
Martha added: 'I think everyone was nice. I feel like it just felt awkward. It felt like we were at someone's house party and they didn't want us there.' Despite the uncomfortable atmosphere, she went on to clarify that the girls were all kind to one another and even shared clothes.
