Drew Barrymore delighted fans with a rare glimpse into her family life, sharing a video from her New York City home where she baked an apple pie with her daughters, Olive, 12, and Frankie, 10. The clip, filmed in her stunning kitchen adorned with artwork and colourful tiles, showed the girls offering their candid opinions on the sweet treat.
Olive and Frankie, who are notoriously kept out of the spotlight, appeared relaxed and playful, with one daughter playfully mocking her mother's viral video. The lighthearted moment highlighted the close bond between the actress and her children.
Barrymore shares her daughters with ex-husband Will Kopelman, with whom she maintains an amicable co-parenting relationship. She moved from Los Angeles to New York City several years ago to allow her girls to be closer to their father, who has since remarried Alexandra Michler and welcomed a son in 2023.
In previous interviews, Barrymore has spoken about her approach to parenting, emphasising the importance of setting a good example. She has also revealed that her daughters are interested in acting, but she is taking a cautious approach, supporting school plays while delaying any public exposure until they are older.
The girls recently appeared on a special birthday episode of Barrymore's talk show in February, where they wrote heartfelt letters celebrating their mother's 50th birthday. Frankie praised her as the 'most fabulous, kindest person on earth,' while Olive called her 'the most wonderful mother.'
