Dolly Parton has suffered a second heartbreak in just over a year as her older brother Coy 'Denver' Parton has died at the age of 82. He passed away on July 23 and was described as the most private member of the Parton family.
Dolly is one of 12 children born to Avie Lee Owens Parton and Robert Lee Parton in Sevier County, Tennessee. Only eight of the Parton siblings are still alive today. The music legend has yet to publicly comment on her brother's death.
Coy Parton's Passing
Coy is survived by his two daughters and a grandson. This loss comes a year after the death of Dolly Parton's husband.
