DJ Fat Tony, a family friend of the Beckhams, has shared three words that he believes sum up the celebrity couple: 'amazing PR machine.' He made the comment while discussing the reported rift between Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham and their son, Brooklyn Beckham.
Family Feud Details
Brooklyn, married to US actress and billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz, has reportedly been estranged from his parents in recent months. He previously claimed on Instagram that his parents had been 'controlling narratives in the press' about the family and accused them of 'trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship since before [his] wedding.' In January, Brooklyn said he did not want to 'reconcile' with his family and alleged that his mother had 'danced very inappropriately on me' during his wedding.
DJ Fat Tony's Perspective
Tony, who served as DJ for Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, told Hello! Magazine: 'It's always sad when there's a rift in any family. It just so happened that I got dragged into one. I went on [This Morning] to change a narrative of the word "inappropriate" and where it was going for Victoria, where it was going for Brooklyn. It was not a nice situation.' He described the Beckhams as 'incredible' and noted that they had brought up their children 'impeccably.'
World Cup Advert and Father's Day
Brooklyn appeared in a World Cup advert for DoorDash that appeared to make light of the feud. In the ad, he said: 'You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home… It’s a long story.' He then threw down his tickets, and the ad concluded: 'It’s complicated. More soon.' Meanwhile, Sir David and Victoria shared Father's Day posts on Instagram, but Brooklyn reportedly did not post a message for the occasion.
