Dianne Buswell has revealed her adorable Strictly Come Dancing cheerleader as fans were quick to show her and her celebrity dance partner Will Best support after the show's Movie Week special.
The professional dancer has returned to the hit BBC One dance show for her 10th season, and last month she was seen being paired with Big Brother host Will during the 2026 series' pre-recorded launch show.
Movie Week performance
During week one of the competition, Will and Dianne were tasked with opening the show, while on Saturday night (October 3), week two of Strictly's 2026 series saw the pair and their fellow couples bring a touch of movie magic to the dance floor with an array of dazzling routines for the show's Movie Week special.
Strictly fans rushed to show their support for Will and Dianne after believing they were "undermarked" for their routine, a foxtrot to "Old Time Rock & Roll" from Risky Business.
After opening the show last week, their latest performance, which saw Will channelling Tom Cruise from the 1983 film by wearing a pink shirt and pants, earned them 19 out of a possible 40 points, leaving them with a total of 37 points across weeks one and two, which were combined with the public vote to seal their fate in week three of the competition.
Dianne's 'cheerleader' son
Ahead of the show, Dianne, who welcomed her first child with her partner Joe Sugg earlier this year, shared an adorable update, saying her baby boy, Bowden, was her 'cheerleader' as she hoped to make it through to another week in the competition.
She shared photos of the six-month-old wearing a blue cardigan which had been embroidered on the back with the message: "My mum's Strictly the best," and said: "The cutest cheerleader there ever was [heart and face holding back tears emoji]. You make mummy smile so much on that dance floor."
Fans rush to support
But it was later, after the show, that fans were keen to show Dianne and Will their support as they faced some criticism from the judges following their Movie Week performance.
@laucapon said: "Will nailed the brief and looked damn cool while doing it. Anton and Craig know they could never compete." @bttfmusicalfanpage wrote: "You did the movie justice, and honestly, it was amazing." @onedandylion replied: "It’s movie week! You were being so creative slicing between the two styles. I thought it was terrific and such fun to watch. Weird comments from some of the judges I thought… I gave you my 5 votes for creativity and enjoyment."
@stuartomcardle99 shared: "One of my favourite dances of the night, you both did so well and definitely deserved higher marks! You've got this Will & Dianne!" @fabiak19 posted: "Loved it!! the whole point of movie week is bringing songs and scenes from the movies to the dancefloor and this dance did that brilliantly!! amazing choreography and so fun to watch." @kezgal12 added: "Absolutely loved this routine!!! Don’t agree with the judges you both smashed it."
