Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell and her YouTuber partner Joe Sugg have announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy. The couple shared the joyful news on social media, revealing they have 'never felt a love like it'.
The baby's full name is Bowden Mark Richard Sugg, born on 16 March 2026. The middle names carry special significance: Mark honours Dianne's father, while Richard pays tribute to Joe's late grandfather, who passed away in 2021.
According to baby name website The Bump, Bowden means 'shelter' and symbolises security, new beginnings, and ambition. The couple met on the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing, where they were dance partners, and confirmed their romance shortly after the show ended.
Dianne and Joe had long expressed their desire to start a family. In September 2025, they announced their pregnancy with a sweet video featuring three stick figures. Dianne had previously spoken about balancing motherhood with her demanding dance career, stating she would be happy to take a break when the time was right.
