Denise Welch has received a rave reaction from fans as she shared two of her outfits for son Matty Healy's Hollywood wedding to Gabbriette Bechte. Some of her Instagram followers said she'd 'never look better' as others declared they were 'obsessed' with the beautiful red carpet-esque gown she chose for the occasion.
Wedding details and outfits
After Matty popped the question to model and actress Gabbriette in 2024, the couple walked down the aisle in the shadow of the Hollywood sign at the weekend, with Denise, of course, in the congregation, along with her ex, Matt's dad Tim Healy, her husband Lincoln Townley and Matt's younger brother Louis.
Fans got a first glimpse of Denise's look in overheard photos taken at the wedding, but on Thursday night she shared a full length picture to her Instagram grid, revealing that the dress was from London brand Solace. It took no time at all for her famous friends and her fans to respond in the comments, with her Loose Women colleague Frankie Bridge writing: 'Obsessed' and the ITV show's host Ruth Langsford commenting: 'Absolutely STUNNING!'
Reactions from friends and fans
Former Coronation Street star and Sunday for Sammy regular Angela Lonsdale, who was also at the wedding, along with Corrie legend Sally Dynevor, reacted: 'Absolutely stunning, you looked so beautiful all weekend. Love you ! Was the best weekend ever!'
As well as her look for the ceremony itself, Denise also posted photos of another outfit - an elegant black dress from Rebecca Vallance, that she wore for the welcome drinks a few days earlier. And just like her wedding look, it got quite a reaction from her fans.
Returning to the comments to pay Denise another compliment, Loose Women co-star Ruth enthused: 'WOWZER!You look incredible!' Echoing those sentiments, another of Denise's Loose Women colleagues, Judi Love replied: 'When I say I just love you!!!'
In another post about Matty's wedding, Denise wrote: 'To see my eldest son marry the most beautiful, funny, crazy girl under the Hollywood sign was a night I'll never forget. They are made for each other.'
