Denise Welch has shared a series of glam snaps from her son Matty Healy's wedding. The 1975 frontman, 37, married American model Gabbriette, 28, on Saturday at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.

The Loose Woman star noted that the day was one she could "never forget". Welch donned a form-fitting pink satin gown with large off-the-shoulder detailing. Her look was completed by Ryan Kay, who styled her make-up and hair for the occasion. In the Instagram caption, she wrote: "My dress for my son Matthew's wedding. The happiest time of my life."
Fellow TV stars shared their admiration for her look in the comments. Stars such as Katie Piper, Stacey Dooley and Claire Sweeney shared several compliments. Claire wrote that Denise was "just beautiful pure class", Stacey added five hot face emojis and Katie shared several fire emojis to communicate her thoughts.

In a tribute, Welch wrote: “To see my eldest son marry the most beautiful, funny, crazy girl under the Hollywood sign was a night I’ll never forget. They are made for each other. I kept looking around and couldn’t believe so many of our friends and family were all together in Los Angeles celebrating this most magical, beautiful few days watching the love between Matthew and Gabbriette.
Welch also welcomed Gabbriette’s parents, Gary and Chayo, into the family. She added: “We love our daughter-in-law and our new family. I’ll need to do a million reels to capture the fun we all had.”
Wedding date and coincidence
On 18 July, frontman of the 1975 Matty Healy married model Gabbriette Bechtel. Coincidentally, the wedding took place just two weeks after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's in New York's Madison Square Garden. Taylor and Matty briefly dated in 2023, but were previously linked in 2014.
