Sami Sheen, the 21-year-old daughter of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, has spoken about the emotional turmoil she experienced while growing up in the spotlight. In an appearance on Gia Giudice's podcast 'Casual Chaos', she revealed that she felt like the 'odd one out' in her mother's household and that blame for family tensions was often placed on her.
She described living with her mother, stepfather Aaron Phypers, and sister Lola as a time of constant fighting. 'I did not get along with anyone. I kind of felt like the odd one out and being the older sister, the blame was like always thrown on me for everything,' she said. Sami added that she was 'really struggling mentally' in that environment, hinting at deeper issues she could not discuss openly.
At the age of 17, she moved in with her father Charlie Sheen, whom she described as 'the preferred parent' for a time. However, she later felt 'really lonely' there and eventually moved in with a friend before briefly returning to her mother's home. After turning 18, Sami used income from her OnlyFans account to rent her own apartment, stating: 'I started OnlyFans and I got an apartment a month later and I've been living in an apartment ever since.'
Sami acknowledged that her decision to leave home was met with criticism from some who assumed she had an easy life. She countered: 'You guys have no idea. What goes on behind closed doors is crazy.' She also emphasised that her move towards independence was not simply about choosing sides between her parents, but about finding herself and having her own space.
