Denise Fox (Diane Parish) learns of a huge secret in EastEnders soon, as Ian Beale's (Adam Woodyatt) fate is revealed after the incident that put young Jordan Fox in hospital.
Wedding Chaos Leads to Accident
During Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) and Vicki Fowler's (Alice Haig) wedding, Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) shouted at son Jordan, which resulted in him running away from the venue. He was hit by a car that was being driven by Ian, and rushed to hospital afterwards.
Ian's Court Case
It's in upcoming episodes that Ian heads to court to ultimately learn whether he will be going to prison for what happened. As the Beales leave, Ian's lawyer arrives with good news. Despite his bail conditions, a hopeful Ian finds Chelsea and begs for help, but she orders him to leave.
Struggling with her guilt, Chelsea tells Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) how she's feeling, and grows determined to do the right thing. After making a call to Ian and promising him that he will help, Chelsea and Kim end up being delayed on their way to the court.
Verdict and Aftermath
As the judge prepares to deliver the verdict, Ian anxiously waits for Chelsea's arrival. Whether Ian goes to prison or not remains to be seen. During the aftermath though, Chelsea appears to be struggling, as she makes a mistake by telling Sheila – Gray Atkins' (Toby-Alexander Smith) grandma – her partial blame for Jordan's accident. The woman then heads over to the prison and updates Gray.
Sheila is left alarmed by Gray's reaction to the news and quickly chooses to return to Walford. When she gets there, Sheila confronts Chelsea, who realises that she must let her see Jordan.
Denise's Disgust
Later, Chelsea and Kim visit Denise, where Chelsea admits her role in Jordan's accident. Denise is utterly disgusted, what will this mean for her relationship with Chelsea?
Meanwhile, in the prison, a commotion unfolds that sparks an idea for Gray. He's still incredibly dangerous – what will happen next?
