Davina McCall Shows Off Big Brother-Inspired Wedding Ring After Secret Marriage

Davina McCall has revealed her wedding ring, featuring an eye-shaped gem that pays homage to her time hosting Big Brother, after secretly marrying partner Michael Douglas. The couple tied the knot in a small London ceremony last week, just three months after getting engaged.

The TV presenter, known for hosting Big Brother for nine series from 2000, debuted the unique ring at a charity event alongside singer Beverley Knight. The silver band and eye-shaped stone are widely seen as a nod to the iconic reality show's logo.

McCall and Douglas, a celebrity hairdresser, exchanged vows at Marylebone Town Hall last Friday in front of about ten close friends and family. The bride opted for a long white faux fur coat, lace hat, tights and heels, while the groom wore a bright blue suit.

A source told The Sun: "Their wedding was perfect, exactly what they wanted. They chose a small venue close to their home... It was very intimate." The couple had been friends for years before their relationship turned romantic after McCall's 17-year marriage to Matthew Robertson ended in 2017.

Douglas proposed during a romantic holiday in Ibiza three months ago. The pair decided not to wait long to formalise their marriage, especially after McCall's recent health issues. The next day, they attended another friend's wedding as a married couple, happily showing off the ring.
