David Beckham Snubbed by Son Brooklyn on 51st Birthday Amid Family Rift

David Beckham celebrated his 51st birthday on Saturday, but the occasion was marked by an apparent snub from his eldest son, Brooklyn, as the family rift continues. The former England and Manchester United captain received tributes from his wife Victoria, their other children, and numerous famous friends, but Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were notably absent from public well-wishes.

Victoria Beckham led the birthday messages, sharing a series of photos on social media, including a video of David unboxing six chickens as a gift. She wrote: "You are our world, our everything. We love you so much!!! Happy birthday to the best husband, daddy, son, brother, and friend." Their sons Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper, also posted heartfelt messages, with Harper calling him "the best daddy in the whole world."

The family has been in turmoil for over a year following a fallout between Brooklyn and his parents, particularly his mother. Earlier this year, Brooklyn issued a lengthy statement criticising his family's behaviour at his wedding to Nicola Peltz. Despite this, Victoria has maintained that she and David have "always tried to be the best parents" and love their children deeply.

On the football front, Beckham's birthday was bittersweet. Salford City, co-owned by the Class of 92, missed out on automatic promotion from League Two on the final day. Meanwhile, his MLS club Inter Miami faced Orlando City, aiming to move top of the table with a win.
