Sir David Beckham has revealed the secret to his enduring 27-year marriage with Victoria Beckham, describing their relationship as a true partnership. The former football star married Spice Girls icon Victoria in 1999, and together they have four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
Beckham on the Spice Girls Reunion
In an interview with Variety, David expressed his desire to see the Spice Girls reunite on stage. The group, which officially disbanded over 25 years ago, has reunited for special events such as The Return of the Spice Girls Tour in 2007. David admitted he would love for them to perform again, saying: "Look, I'm a Spice Girls fan and always have been. I ended up marrying a Spice Girl, so now I'm even more of a Spice Girls fan than I was back in the day."
He added: "I'm not sure there's many girl bands that have been together for that long that have that much of a following. I've always tried to get my wife to perform again. I think they're all doing their own thing and are busy, but I'm always hoping for the girls to get back together and perform at some point."
David also revealed his favorite Spice Girls song: "Say You'll Be There." He recalled: "That was the song that I first saw Victoria performing and I turned around to my friend and said, 'I'm going to marry that girl.' And I did it! I stalked her down and I did it."
Family Privacy and the Brooklyn Situation
The Beckham family has been in the headlines recently after eldest son Brooklyn posted an explosive statement about removing himself from the family. When asked about the situation, Victoria told The Wall Street Journal: "I think that we've always – we love our children so much. We've always tried to be the best parents that we can be, and you know, we've been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we've ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children, and you know, that's all I really want to say about it."
David declined to discuss the matter further, stating: "I'm sorry to stop you there, but that's a private matter. That's the one thing that I don't want to talk about."

Despite the challenges, David and Victoria's marriage remains strong. David shared the secret of their successful partnership: "We've been married for 27 years this July. We've been together for 29 years. We've got four incredible kids. We've got businesses that we work hard on. But we always make time for each other, and we always have. I want Victoria to be the best version of herself, and vice versa. And as busy as we are, our family always comes first. That's our priority, and that's what makes it work when you've been together for so long. Our priority will always be our family."
