David and Victoria Beckham were among the family members who attended their son Cruz's intimate gig in Notting Hill, marking the first time they watched him perform live with his band Cruz Beckham and The Breakers. The couple's daughter Harper also showed her support, alongside friends and wider family.
The event took place at the former Laylow building, a closed-down venue currently on the market for nearly £6 million. Victoria, 50, recycled a brown fur coat she previously wore when her husband was knighted, while David opted for a plain white T-shirt, jeans and a charcoal grey flat cap.
After Cruz, 20, finished his set, Sir David took to Instagram to share his pride, writing: 'Family & friends night with Cruz. We r so proud of you mate we love you and the journey that you are on... Tonight was full of love & a few tears of joy and pride. #CruzBeckham &The Breakers.' He added, 'Love you Cruzie,' and tagged Victoria. The Neville brothers, former teammates of Sir David, commented with heart emojis.
The band have been busy with recent gigs at grassroots venues including The George Tavern in Shadwell, AKA in Banbury, The Horn in St Albans and the Old Town Hall in Hemel Hempstead. They also released two singles last month, 'Optics' and 'Lick The Toad'.
Earlier, Victoria and Cruz had a sweet singalong at home, performing the Spice Girls' 'Viva Forever', with David joining in comically off-key. Victoria, however, has ruled out a Spice Girls reunion, telling BritBrief: 'I'm not going to be touring. People always ask me about a Spice Girls reunion but I'm so focused on the business and my family.'
