Danny Miller names chickens after Emmerdale characters

Emmerdale star Danny Miller gave fans a glimpse of his farm life, revealing that his chickens are named after characters from the ITV soap. Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, shared a video on Instagram showing him rounding up the chickens at sunset in the Yorkshire Dales.

In the clip, Miller found all five chickens sitting in a bush and safely returned them to their coop. He introduced one chicken as Mandy, a tribute to Emmerdale's Mandy Dingle. The caption humorously referenced a fictional series called 'The Millers Hen House: Not A Clucking Clue' and asked fans to suggest names for two unnamed chickens, noting that Mandy, Paddy and Marlon were already taken.

Fan reactions and name suggestions

Emmerdale fans in the comments loved the nod to the soap. One suggested: 'we need a Robert chicken, danny!!' Another added: 'Really hoping 2 of your chickens are called Aaron and Robert, really need an Aaron and a Robert'. Other suggestions included Jack and Diane, and Kim to 'keep an eye on those Dingle chicks'.
