Danniella Westbrook Unveils Dramatically Transformed Appearance Following Major Surgery

Former EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook has revealed her strikingly different look after undergoing another round of extensive reconstructive surgery. The 52-year-old star, best known for playing Sam Mitchell on the BBC soap, has had multiple operations to rebuild her face following years of drug addiction.

Comprehensive Facial Reconstruction in Dubai

The latest surgical procedures took place in Dubai under the care of her trusted surgeon, Dr. Parviz Sadigh. Westbrook underwent a comprehensive transformation that included a full face, neck, and brow lift, along with lip and nose reconstruction. This follows her previous operation in June last year to address damage to her septum caused by cocaine addiction.

Photographs released show the actress looking virtually unrecognisable as she left the hospital in a wheelchair. Her face appeared seriously swollen and bruised, heavily wrapped in bandages. In earlier images taken before the operation, Westbrook appeared nervous while wearing a hospital gown, awaiting her turn in the operating theatre.

Long Journey of Recovery and Rehabilitation

Westbrook has been open about her struggles with drug addiction and the subsequent damage to her facial structure. Last summer, she shared a photograph from a hospital bed with the caption: "Big day for me heading down for a very long surgery right now to rebuild my face. Then I can get back to work."

In an Instagram post last month, the actress expressed her anticipation for the February surgery, writing: "A massive amount of love and respect to my Amazing surgeon @parvizsadigh for all his hard work. Every day I grow and glow xxxx thank you and roll on Feb for the next operation."

Career Impact and Recent Developments

The actress was just 16 when she found fame on EastEnders, but was later forced out of the show due to her ongoing addiction struggles. She made a return to the role before the character was eventually replaced by Kim Medcalf, who had originally taken over from Westbrook in 2002.

Westbrook was last seen on television in 2016 when she finished in third place on Celebrity Big Brother. More recently, she had been scheduled to film a role in Tales From The Trap in December, but the part was recast after she was rushed to hospital with reported breathing difficulties.

The mother-of-two continues her journey of recovery and rehabilitation, with this latest surgery representing another significant step in rebuilding both her appearance and her life after years of battling addiction.
