Liam Neeson's Son Daniel Approves of Father's Romance with Pamela Anderson

Liam Neeson’s unexpected romance with Pamela Anderson has been met with a warm reception from their families, with the actor’s son Daniel Jack Neeson showing his approval via emojis on Instagram. The 28-year-old co-founder of De Nada Tequila commented under a post featuring the new couple with raised hands, flames, white hearts and a water pistol emoji.

Liam’s sister-in-law Joely Richardson also expressed her support, leaving seven red heart emojis under the same post. Joely, daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and sister of Liam’s late wife Natasha Richardson, has remained close to the family since Natasha’s tragic death in 2009.

Pamela’s son Brandon Thomas Lee spoke about the relationship during an appearance on Access Hollywood, saying it was "fun to see them be good castmates and have a good time". The couple, who star in a new film that opened at No 3 at the box office, have been doing press together. Last week they posed on the red carpet with their sons: Liam’s eldest Micheál Neeson, 30, and Pamela’s son Dylan Lee, 27.

Pamela, a 15-time Playboy cover model, has been married five times, most recently to Dan Hayhurst from 2020 to 2022. According to People magazine, she and Liam are "enjoying each other’s company" and appear "genuinely smitten". Social media has been flooded with supportive messages from celebrities, including Patti Smith, Chelsea Handler, Macaulay Culkin and Emma Slater.

Bravo host Andy Cohen, a friend of the late Natasha Richardson, said on SiriusXM: "I, and all of the friends in this circle, are very much stanning whatever this is." He told Liam at a premiere party that Pamela is "an independent woman, just like Tash was".
