Dani Dyer, star of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, became emotional during an interrogation scene on the Channel 4 show as she discussed her past relationships and her famous father, Danny Dyer. The Directing Staff, led by Jason 'Foxy' Fox, questioned Dani about her upbringing and dating history.
Dani revealed that she had chosen 'terrible boyfriends' in the past, but her parents always knew where she was. She said: 'I just chose terrible boyfriends, but my mum and dad always knew where I was. I wasn't one of them kids where they were ringing up the police, I thought I was pretty stable in that sense.'
Speaking about her father, the EastEnders actor, Dani described him as 'the softest person' despite his on-screen tough-guy image. She added: 'My mum's the hard man of the family, but I've already been alright with having him as a dad. We've lived a very, very normal life considering he has been so famous.'
The reality star also opened up about her insecurities, saying: 'I want to be stronger. I want to believe in myself. I don't have any self-belief at all.' Dani, who is now married to footballer Jarrod Bowen and mother to twins Summer and Star, as well as son Santiago from a previous relationship, described the SAS experience as one of the 'hardest things' she has ever done.
