Katie Price's Ex Dane Bowers Delivers Brutally Blunt Verdict on Lee Andrews
Dane Bowers Delivers Blunt Verdict on Katie Price's Husband Lee

Katie Price's ex-partner, Dane Bowers, has delivered a brutally blunt verdict on her marriage to Lee Andrews, describing the whirlwind union as a "bloody soap opera." The former Another Level singer, who dated Price from 1998 to 2000, reached out to her after news of the marriage broke in January, but only because his girlfriend Nicole was eager for gossip.

Dane's Reaction to the Marriage

Bowers told The Sun: "I think I messaged her 'please tell me you’re on a wind up with this Lee nonsense?' and that was it really." He added that Price replied claiming Andrews had met him before because Bowers had DJ'd for him, which Bowers dismissed as "b*****ks." He said: "I think he’s got some issues. I was intrigued to see if it was a bloody wind up or not but she didn’t really say."

Despite their relationship ending over two decades ago, Price has previously described Bowers as the love of her life. Her marriage to Andrews is her fourth, and Bowers expressed little optimism about its longevity.

Appearance in New Documentary

Bowers is set to appear in Price's upcoming four-part Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, which explores her past. He said he participated to take back control of the narrative surrounding their failed relationship, noting that his current partner Nicole is understanding: "I’m in a really good relationship now, Nicole is really understanding and is like, 'look, everyone’s got a past. Absolutely, why not talk about it?'"

At the documentary launch, Price said: "Dane Bowers! I used to adore his songs. Why am I grinning? He was the love of my life. Did you tell him that? Why did he muck it up? He’ll probably point the finger at me." She also recalled meeting him at a film premiere, saying they "just locked eyes."

Gareth Gates Also Features

The documentary also includes Price's former fling Gareth Gates, who opened up about losing his virginity to her at age 17. Price expressed shock at his involvement, saying: "Imagine meeting someone 25 years ago and then they sort of ghost you. You don’t know why and then you go forward 25 years and then you get the answers." She added that Gates had believed she did something she didn't do, and now he knows the truth.
