Dan Osborne has been pictured visibly distressed and in tears following reports of his split from wife Jacqueline Jossa. The former TOWIE star, 34, was seen wiping his eyes with a towel in images obtained by the Mirror, taken on Thursday, a day after news of the separation emerged.
The couple, who have been together for 13 years and share daughters Ella, 11, and Mia, seven, are said to have made the split permanent after a trial separation. An insider told the Mirror that Osborne is desperate to win Jossa back, saying: 'Dan is understandably upset, it’s such a shame and everyone is heartbroken. They both tried so hard to make it work.'
The source added that Osborne misses being part of a celebrity couple and is struggling to adjust. 'Dan enjoyed the fame and success that came with being with Jac,' the insider said. 'He’s desperate for them to stay as a family and win back Jac.'
The couple married in 2017 but have faced numerous cheating allegations over the years, including claims involving Love Island stars Gabby Allen and Alexandra Cane, and a threesome allegation from Celebrity Big Brother co-star Chloe Ayling, all of which Osborne has denied. They briefly split in 2018 and again in 2023, but reconciled each time.
Osborne, who also has a son, Teddy, 12, from a previous relationship, now works as a personal trainer. Jossa, 33, is best known for playing Lauren Branning in EastEnders and won I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2019. Reports suggest Osborne ended the marriage because he could no longer cope with Jossa's behaviour as she struggled to move past his past indiscretions.
