Linda Gray, best known for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing in the 1980s television series 'Dallas', has shared a striking photograph with her daughter Kehly Sloane on Instagram to celebrate her birthday. The 84-year-old actress appears radiant in the selfie, wearing a white zip-up hoodie and black glasses, with her hair styled in a chin-length bob with bangs.
Gray, who earned Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for her portrayal of Sue Ellen, captioned the post: 'Celebrating my beautiful daughter's birthday! Thank you for the makeup @patrickseanf.' The photo shows mother and daughter with matching hair colours, both looking youthful and confident.
In a 2023 interview with HELLO! magazine, Gray spoke about her approach to ageing. 'I don't think of age,' she said. 'You get to a point where you don't care that they talk about how old you are. My whole thing is to live life to the fullest.' She noted that many friends and family members, including her son and sister, have died, but she remains positive.
Gray revealed she recently joined a hiking club and plans to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain. 'Do something that you're afraid to do; this is scary for me. I'm going to walk 12 miles a day,' she said, dismissing those who say she is too old. 'I want to talk to positive people who are cheerleaders.'
The actress also expressed a desire to produce content focusing on women's experiences. 'There's so much that women have to say, we have zest for life, we don't want to be thrown away as if we don't matter,' she explained. She believes there is a 'missing link' in women's happiness that she hopes to explore 'with love and integrity and authenticity.'
