Rebecca Humphries, who recently ended her five-year relationship with comedian Seann Walsh after he was pictured kissing his married Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones, had previously expressed doubts about her boyfriend in a 2014 interview.
Speaking to The Reviews Hub ahead of her Fringe play Dizney Rascal, the actress admitted she was still waiting for her 'handsome prince' rather than living with a boyfriend who 'still spills baked beans down himself aged 28'. She also revealed she had no idea she would be the subject of Walsh's Edinburgh Festival show, saying she was 'a girlfriend who hadn’t known she would feature in aforementioned show'.
Humphries publicly dumped Walsh on Twitter on Monday night, revealing the kissing photos were taken on her birthday as she sat at home alone. She said she had suspected cheating for at least three weeks but was called a 'psycho' when she raised it. She has since left him and taken the cat.
Both Walsh and Jones have apologised for their behaviour, with Walsh expressing regret on It Takes Two and saying their relationship 'wasn't perfect'. Humphries has stated she has not yet received a direct apology from either party.
