Sir David Beckham has been pictured enjoying a luxury yacht holiday in the south of France with his wife Victoria, son Romeo, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana. The group were seen aboard the Beckhams' £16 million yacht, named Seven, as David opted for white board shorts, a modest choice compared to his iconic 2008 Armani campaign.
The holiday comes amid ongoing family tensions, with eldest son Brooklyn notably absent. Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz skipped David's 50th birthday in May, and reports suggest Romeo and younger brother Cruz have unfollowed Brooklyn on social media, with insiders calling it a “Gen Z version of World War Three”.
Cruz Beckham, 20, drew attention during the trip by posting a photo of himself in tight white trunks, reminiscent of his father’s Armani ad. The image prompted a shocked response from Romeo, who commented “Jesus,” while Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel left cry-laughing emojis. Cruz later apologised jokingly, writing: “Sorry I don’t have more speedos pictures x”.
David’s mother, Sandra, also reacted to Cruz’s post with love heart, shocked, and laughing emojis. However, Brooklyn has remained silent on the post, further highlighting the family rift. Earlier this month, Romeo shared Justin Bieber’s song “Walking Away” on Instagram Stories, captioning it “Yup”, which appeared to confirm the estrangement.
