Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman both attended CinemaCon 2026 at The Dolby Colosseum in Las Vegas on April 14, but the former couple managed to avoid any direct encounter, 25 years after their divorce. They made separate onstage appearances to promote their upcoming projects and were not photographed together.
Kidman, 58, wore a chic black gown by Colleen Allen with a plunging neckline and ruffled layers, accessorised with diamond earrings and black pumps. She reunited with her Practical Magic co-star Sandra Bullock to preview the film's sequel. Cruise, 63, donned a black velvet blazer over a simple shirt and trousers, joining director Alejandro G. Inarritu to showcase a first look at their dark comedy Digger.
The pair met on the set of Days of Thunder in 1990 and married in a private ceremony in December 1990. They adopted two children, Isabella (born 1992) and Connor (born 1995). Cruise filed for divorce in 2001, citing irreconcilable differences, which Kidman later described as a 'major shock'.
Kidman married singer Keith Urban in 2006, with whom she had two daughters, Sunday Rose (2008) and Faith Margaret (2010). The couple divorced in 2025. Cruise has not remarried.
