Craig Charles Claims I'm A Celeb WhatsApp Group Stories Leaked to Press

Craig Charles has claimed that one of his fellow campmates from I'm A Celebrity...South Africa is leaking stories from the show's private WhatsApp group to the press. The actor and presenter made the allegation during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.

Charles, who is currently competing in the all-star series of the ITV show, revealed that he has been cautious about engaging with the group chat because of the leaks. He said: 'I've not been that engaged with the WhatsApp group because someone in the group is selling stories from the WhatsApp group to the newspapers. So I kind of went, ooh, I'm not getting involved that much.'

The comments came as Charles discussed Scarlett Moffatt's pregnancy announcement, which she shared with campmates via the group chat a few weeks ago. Charles confirmed that Moffatt had asked them to keep the news quiet, adding: 'She was talking in there about finding it difficult to conceive and to come out and basically get very quickly pregnant after coming out of the jungle, everyone is really chuffed for her.'

When asked by Susanna Reid if he knew who was responsible for the leaks, Charles declined to name names, saying: 'No, people have suspicions, but I couldn't possibly comment. It's certainly not me!'

Charles originally appeared on I'm A Celebrity in 2014 but left early due to his brother's death. He is now one of nine celebrities vying to be crowned jungle legend in the live final on Friday, April 24. Other contestants include Ashley Roberts, Adam Thomas, Sinitta, Beverley Callard, Harry Redknapp, Jimmy Bullard, Scarlett Moffatt and Sir Mo Farah.
