Coronation Street star Jude Riordan has been seen celebrating the birthday of his co-star 'bestie' Jane Hazlegrove, who plays Bernie Winter on the ITV soap. The young actor, known for playing Sam Blakeman, shared photos of their outing on Instagram.
Jude and Jane's close bond
Jude, who joined the show in 2020 as the son of Nick Tilsley and the late Natasha Blakeman, has developed a close friendship with Jane, who joined Corrie in 2019 as Bernie Winter, an 'old raver who still sees herself as a free spirit'. Their bond is often documented on social media.
In a recent Instagram post, Jude shared a series of photos showing their friendship from 2020 to 2026, captioning: "How it started > how it's going. 2020 > 2026. What's the rules on work bestie ages as we've made up our own." Jane responded: "Broken my insta ban.. just for you @justjude7! Love you kid.. You have always been AMAZING!"
Birthday pizza outing
Jude then posted a picture of himself and Jane enjoying a huge pizza, writing: "Took JHG out for birthday pizza. This pizza was just mine. I miscalculated the size. This is what happens when I go up and order on my own. It's not photoshopped it was the size of the moon. Go big or go home!"
The post received comments from fellow Corrie stars, including Georgia Taylor who replied: "Pahahhahahahahah oh honey this is hilarious," and Jane Danson who said: "I’m still laughing." Other fans joked about the enormous pizza size.
